MID-SHIFT EMERGENCY ROOM (ER) RN CONTRACT – AUBURN COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) in Auburn, New York (Finger Lakes Region). Operating within the combined adult and pediatric emergency department at Auburn Community Hospital, this position features a desirable mid-shift schedule (11:00 AM - 23:30 PM / 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM). First-time travelers are considered on a case-by-case basis! PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,326.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $30.00/hr (36 regular hours)
• Overtime Rate: $45.00/hr

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Mid-shifts, 3x12-Hours (11:00 AM - 23:30 PM / 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM). Block scheduling is not offered.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW) rotation.
• On-Call Requirements: Standby on-call rate is $8.00/hr ($116.76/hr call-back rate at 1.35x).
• Clinical Scope & Setting: General Emergency Department managing combined adult and pediatric populations. Caseload spans acute stroke (CVA), multisystem organ dysfunction, acute respiratory distress, severe sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and trauma stabilization.
• Procedures & Core Skills: Rapid bedside triage, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressor titration, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, blood product administration, and central line management.
• Systems: Paragon EMR (training provided).

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of recent clinical ER RN experience is required. First-time travelers considered based on clinical background.
• Licensure: Active New York State (NYS) RN License in hand OR proof of pending NY application (must provide date application was filed; clean license with zero hits/actions strictly required).
• Certifications Required: * American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Orientation Telemetry Assessment: Must achieve $\ge$80% on a 15-question telemetry rhythm exam on day 1 (facility does not employ monitor techs; RNs independently read and interpret strips).
• Local Candidate Policy: Locals residing within 50 miles are accepted (at an adjusted local bill rate).

Location Details: Assignment is located at Auburn Community Hospital, 17 Lansing St, Auburn, NY 13021. ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 05, 2026, through January 04, 2027. Submittal Rules & Compliance: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted upfront in the initial profile packet; post-offer RTO will not be approved. If NY license is pending, include the date the application was submitted. License must have zero disciplinary actions.
