Job Details

  • Position Description: ER RN providing emergency care in a facility that allows locals at the local rate. The shift is nights, with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); minimum of 3 years of ER experience, California license in hand, attached Nursys within 2 weeks, minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge experience, experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, stroke and trauma certification.
  • Additional Information: Training modules in EPIC electronic charting system typically involve 8 hours of pre-start and orientation hours, recorded via certificates/transcripts. The candidate must have a valid California license, and RTO (Request Time Off) must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission. Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital according to census needs.
  • Submission Requirements: Compliance with CA licensing, timely Nursys attachment, at least one reference within two years, and adherence to hospital census policies.
