Position Overview

Pen Bay Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Department RN to join its team in Rockport, Maine. The ideal candidate has strong ED or critical care experience and excels in teamwork, flexibility, communication, and clinical documentation.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays.
• Completion of required facility education modules.
• EPIC EMR experience is beneficial.

Unit Details

• Emergency Department with a planned 20-bed capacity, 3 behavioral health beds in a locked unit, and 2 triage rooms.
• Patient ratios: approximately 4:1 to 5:1.
• Standard emergency care equipment.
• No floating requirements specified.
