Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in our medical-surgical unit and emergency department (ED). This role requires flexibility to float between the medical-surgical unit and the emergency department as needed.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both the medical-surgical unit and the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans based on established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience; 2 years preferred.
• Active ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically CPSI, is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of patient diagnoses and care situations, including trauma and elderly health issues.
