Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel ER experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed
• First-time travelers are not supported for this role

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy adult Emergency Department with high patient volume
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and complex conditions
• Support boarder patients and assist with ongoing care needs in the ED
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the care team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Use strong clinical judgment, communication, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Adapt to rotating schedule needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as assigned
