ED Boarder Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Department Border Program. This role requires flexibility with shifts, including a mix of day and night rotations, as well as weekends and holidays. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse who thrives in an environment that is different from a traditional inpatient unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care to patients in various care areas, including hallways and dedicated bays.
Manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks in a high-activity environment with a rapid turnover pace.
Coordinate and obtain necessary medications and supplies for patient care across different areas.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
Adhere to all patient safety and care protocols to maintain the highest standards of care.

Qualifications

Must possess an active RN license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including day and night rotations, with a requirement to work weekends and holidays.
