Facility Information
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) travelers accepted.
- Local candidates are accepted.
- Candidates may only be submitted to one Wellstar opening at a time. Redirect requests may be considered after 48 business hours.
Submission Requirements
Required Documents
- Active Georgia (GA) RN License or Compact RN License required at the time of submission.
- Copies of all required certifications must be included with submission.
- Certifications must remain active throughout the initial 13-week contract.
- Copy of Social Security card (preferred).
- Copy of driver's license required.
Experience & Licensure
- Wellstar will not consider candidates with any disciplinary action or hits on their nursing license, regardless of outcome or resolution status.
Time-Off Requirements
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- Maximum of 3 days of RTO permitted on initial contracts.
- No holiday RTO requests will be approved.
- Extensions requesting additional RTO may be considered with manager approval.
Scheduling Expectations
- Start dates should be within 3-4 weeks of the posted start date.
- No block scheduling.
- Contracts may not end on a holiday weekend.
- Travel pairs are not accepted.
Holiday Requirements
Travelers should expect to work:
- 2 Major Holidays
- 2 Minor Holidays
based on unit scheduling needs.
Floating Expectations
- Travelers are required to float as needed.
- Assignments are regionalized, and travelers may float to any Wellstar campus included in their offer.
Additional Information
- Overtime is not offered to travelers.
- All scheduling and time-off requests are subject to unit and manager approval.
