Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MS/Tele to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with patients across the Med/Surg IMC and ED borders, delivering high-quality nursing care in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Assist with complex ED admission diagnoses and manage a wide variety of patient cases.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between ED borders and extended care to MS/T and IMC units as necessary.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in accordance with established healthcare standards.
• Adhere to mandated protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Caring and compassionate attitude toward patients and their families.
• Ability to work every other weekend and as needed on holidays.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts: 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 08:00.
• Weekends: Required every other weekend.
• Holidays: Participation as scheduled.

Patient Care Details

• Average daily census: 10 to 40 border patients.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue.
