First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Job Description & Requirements

ER RN – Level III Trauma Emergency Department

  • Unit: Emergency Department
  • Setting: Acute Care
  • Shift: Nights, 3x12s
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Experience: 2+ years of ER experience
  • Trauma Level: III
  • Charting: Meditech Expanse
  • BSN: Not required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience
  • Level III Trauma experience required
  • BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI required
  • CPI can be obtained onsite
  • NRP and ENPC preferred
  • Must be willing to extend assignment beyond New Year's

Patient Population:

  • Trauma
  • Sepsis
  • Stroke
  • Chest pain
  • Abdominal pain

Clinical Skills:

  • Experience with drips including Diltiazem, Heparin, Insulin, Propofol, Cleviprex, Levophed, and Amiodarone
  • RNs are required to read telemetry strips
  • Telepsych services available

Schedule:

  • 3x12-hour night shifts
  • 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
  • 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend
  • Schedule requests are submitted to the scheduler and reviewed by management
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract: ASAP through New Year's
