Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ER experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Fast-paced Emergency Department treating all patient types including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases
• Manages critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes
• 12-hour night shifts, rotating every other weekend
• 36 hours per week
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Cerner experience required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered, no local candidates accepted
