Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN will assess and manage patients with a variety of acute and critical conditions, collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and respond effectively to emergencies. Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring conscious sedation, intubation support, behavioral health monitoring, sepsis management, stroke care including TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize care in a high-acuity environment.
Requirements:
2+ years of ED/ER experience
Active Texas RN License
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
PALS or ENPC required
