Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Adult Emergency Department 13 Weeks. This position involves providing critical care and rapid response in a high-volume Emergency Department at a nationally recognized academic medical center. The role requires a dedicated professional with trauma experience, flexibility to float, and the ability to adapt to an academic medical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) for Adult Emergency Department.
- Certifications & Licensure: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; Florida RN License or Compact RN License at time of submission.
- Education Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience, with recent experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center; recent EPIC experience listed in submission packet.
- Location Requirements: 50-Mile Radius Rule (NO LOCALS), minimum of 1 professional reference within the last 12 months.
- Schedule: 12-Hour Days, 0700-1930, 36 Hours per Week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience, recent work in a trauma center, current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications, Florida RN License or Compact RN License.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
- Additional Information: Must successfully complete specialty-specific competency exam and EKG exam with minimum score of 80%. Unplanned Time Off (UTO) may result in contract cancellation if shifts are missed and not made up. No RTO during first 2 weeks; maximum of 10 days RTO for 13-week contract. Flexibility to float is required.
