Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
• MOAB 12 or CPI certification required
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable caring for general ED patients, behavioral health patients, geriatric patients, and occasional pediatric cases
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with chest pain, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and other urgent complaints
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, and support staff to support efficient patient flow
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient response in accordance with clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and support safe medication management through standard hospital systems
• Deliver care with professionalism in a setting that values teamwork, clear communication, and adaptability
• Follow emergency department procedures and contribute to a smooth, well-organized patient experience
