• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Puyallup, Washington
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Setting: Level III trauma center Emergency Department
• Orientation: Unit orientation with EPIC training as needed, educator support, and precepted shift time
• Schedule: Shifts may vary based on unit needs; schedule is provided in advance

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB certifications required
• Recent EPIC experience required
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and IV insertion skills
• Experience with drips, medication administration, procedural sedation, and blood administration
• TNK administration experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity, team-oriented emergency nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Care for a wide variety of emergency cases including trauma, stroke, sepsis, STEMI, respiratory illness, DKA, and behavioral health needs
• Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a busy Emergency Department
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support procedural sedation and transfusion needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, support staff, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social work
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Deliver compassionate care while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered ED
