Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in a critical access hospital setting. This role involves providing high-level patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on charge nursing responsibilities. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of recent ER experience, experience working in a critical access hospital, and charge experience. The position requires floating to Med/Surg Stepdown units, with a primary focus on emergency care and backup duties for Med/Surg patients.

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current ER experience of at least 2 years, previous charge nurse experience, experience in a critical access hospital, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications, current licenses and certifications valid at time of submission, permanent address outside a 50+ mile radius from the facility, and a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and prior work in a critical access hospital.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
