Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring 36 hours per week, with every other weekend commitment. Holiday coverage is required.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will predominantly work in the Long Term Observation unit but may be required to float to other Med-Surg units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and potentially the Emergency Department (ED), as appropriate based on skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry/Med-Surg.
  • Proficiency in reading Telemetry/BCRA; competency testing will occur on the first day.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
  • Current proficiency in Epic EMR is required; refresher classes are not available.

Certifications/Requirements

  • Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS

Employees may be required to take call, though this will be a rare occurrence. It is crucial that all candidates meet the outlined qualifications to ensure successful job performance.
