Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity located in a close-knit community within Kings County. This role involves providing coordinated and comprehensive nursing care to patients in a busy emergency setting. The RN will supervise and collaborate with clinical staff, utilize critical thinking skills, and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an acute care facility preferred.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, collaborating with healthcare teams, and participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Candidates must have EPIC experience.
