Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in the ER department. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The position requires assessing patient conditions, interpreting data, and performing emergency procedures with professionalism and precision.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, from 06:00 PM to 06:30 AM, starting 09/14/2026 and ending 12/13/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California; evidence of current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; at least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months, with acute critical experience within the last 12 months; proficient in computer skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit experience; EPIC electronic medical record system experience; MICN certification within one year of hire; additional certifications such as NRP, TNCC, and CEN are encouraged.
- Additional Information: Must be able to perform physical demands including frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and repetitive hand motions; lift and transfer patients weighing up to 50 pounds; potential exposure to blood and body fluids. Able to handle emergency situations efficiently and provide age-appropriate care.
