Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required; more than 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data; analyzes assessment findings; develops and implements care plans; evaluates progress and modifies care as needed; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams; provides patient education; participates in discharge planning; delegates tasks appropriately; performs other related duties.
• Additional Information: The position requires Epic electronic health record (EHR) system experience. Facility will not accommodate block scheduling or any special scheduling requests; staffing will be based on departmental needs.
