Registered Nurse - Acute/ED Float

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse - Acute/ED Float is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in acute and emergency departments. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform initial assessments and continuous evaluations of patients' conditions.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures and the management of medical equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment options.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of [insert required years of experience] years of nursing experience in acute care or emergency settings.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
