First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in San Luis Obispo, California.

Description

Provides nursing care, including triage, treatment and discharge care for the Emergency Department patients, from newborns to geriatrics. This position is represented by CNA.

 

Requirements

Auto Offer Night Shift 3 x 12s or 4 12's 1900 - 0730 BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and recent EPIC experience are all required.

 

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
  • One year in acute care experience: Required

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RN license in state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
  • AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
