Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Live Oak, TX. This position involves providing critical emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing clinical emergencies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Location: Live Oak, TX
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, at least 2 years of ER experience.
  • Responsibilities include performing procedures such as conscious sedation, participate in intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (including TPA administration), and chest pain (Heart Alerts).
  • All travelers are required to float, adhering to Methodist floating policies.
  • Special skills/advanced skills needed: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Meditech experience is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
  • Additional information: The unit uses Meditech documentation system and has specific uniform and appearance standards, including navy scrubs.
