Position Details:

RN Emergency Department, This position will not accept local candidates. Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available) Preferred: 2 Years ER experience. Previous travel experience. TNCC preferred.

Shift:11a-11pm

Unit Specific Details:

40 beds, 12 hall beds, 6 supertrak, Level I Trauma Center. All ages and medical complaints including trauma. Separate locked unit within the ER (Behavioral Access Center - BAC) for psychiatric patients. There are times that travelers need to assist in the trauma’s when there are multiple trauma’s at one time, however, we primarily staff with our staff as we are up to speed on required documentation and care of the trauma patient.

A nurse would never be scheduled every other day. The fewest number of days scheduled in a block would be 2 in a row with having a couple or few off before and or after. We do require every other weekend.

Our nurse to patient ratios are typically 5:1 with 4 patients in rooms and one hallway patient that is usually a lower acuity patient. Typical patient volume 130-170 patients/day.
