Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Night Shift Location Only
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care for patients in the emergency room. The ER Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and clinical skills to assess data and deliver appropriate care across diverse patient populations.

Position Description:
This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs. The ER Nurse reviews patient history and physical assessments with patients and families, completes assessments and reassessments, reviews diagnostics and laboratory data, and reports abnormal results to physicians and caregivers. The nurse formulates a care plan, including discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and input from patients, families, and the healthcare team. The plan is implemented through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel. The ER Nurse evaluates patient responses, documents care in the patient record, and revises the care plan as needed. The role involves providing evidence-based care, participating in clinical research activities, and contributing to shared leadership initiatives. The position may include supervising staff and work flow in the department, interacting with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts for comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or eligible for licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting or relevant healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
