Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position located at a rural healthcare facility. The role involves providing urgent medical care for a variety of emergency cases, including trauma, injuries, and medical emergencies. The position requires quick response, clinical expertise, and the ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact license. Previous emergency department experience of at least 2 years, with at least 3 months of prior travel experience. Rural or small facility experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification highly preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Travelers must include their perm address in the profile and have their own vehicle.
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may lead to rescinded offers.
- Travelers are expected to work designated holiday blocks including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays, with specific days off outlined.
- Must have been previously traveling for at least 3 months, not working in conjunction with another permanent or travel assignment, and be able to be reached by phone with voicemail set up.
- No non-billable orientation.
- No overnight on-call.
- NO consideration given to travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
