Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse responsible for assessment, documentation, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IVs, urine collection, lab draws, and caring for ESI 5 through 1 patients.
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX, at a 16-bed Emergency Department on the first floor of the facility.
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certifications in TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years emergency department experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in CEN or TCRN, CPI, and more than two years of ER experience preferred.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Support timely care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and low acuity patients, participate in shift huddles, and adhere to unit policies and dress code.
- Additional Information: Unit staff regularly utilize Cardiac Monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and other advanced equipment, with mandatory EMTALA training and dress code adherence.
