Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) Waupaca, WI. This is a 13-week contract opportunity for experienced emergency room nurses. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care on an 8-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, working 12-hour evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Job Details
- Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of registered nurse (RN) experience, including at least 2+ years in the emergency department, is required. Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing is required.
- Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Skills: Good communication skills and proficiency in Epic charting system (used within the last year).
- Additional Information: The role requires float coverage to all healthcare provider facilities within a 60-mile radius. No travel from facilities or their home location within a 50-mile radius of the organizations corporate center.
