Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, including discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and multidisciplinary team input. Delivers direct patient care aligned with physician orders and standards of care, delegating appropriately and ensuring continuity. Documents all care activities accurately and timely, reflecting objective and subjective data. Participates in research activities, education, and role development, and may supervise staff and work flow.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role involves standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Use of proper body mechanics, standard precautions for blood and bodily fluid exposure, and effective communication skills are essential.
