Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in a Level I Trauma Center with a focus on providing high-quality, rapid-response patient care. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The ER RN is responsible for delivering compassionate and effective care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience in emergency or acute care setting within the past 12 months
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Level I Trauma Center; minimum of 2 years recent ER RN experience; experience working in a hospital with 500 or more beds; PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications; travel experience is preferred
  • Additional Information: The position will float between two Emergency Departments, including a Level I Trauma and Level III Trauma Center. Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center and neonatal or pediatric certifications are required. The role involves direct patient care activities including assessment, intervention, and collaboration with healthcare team members to deliver excellent emergency care.
