Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Document patient care progress and interventions according to standards.
  • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives within the department.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to additional departments as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Employ critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Engage in professional nursing continuum processes, including peer review and unit practice discussions.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is required as part of this position.

Experience

Minimum of less than 1 year of relevant experience is required.
