Job Title: Travel RN – Med/Surg & ER Combo (Weekend Nights)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg & Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a weekend-only travel assignment. 

This role requires working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, including Labor Day Weekend. 

 

The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for patients in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room settings and be prepared to float between the two as needed.

 

This position is based in an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with a high-volume Emergency Department, averaging up to 200 ER visits per month. Candidates with prior Critical Access Hospital experience and strong Cerner EMR proficiency are highly preferred.

 

Requirements

  • Recent experience in both Med/Surg and Emergency Room
  • Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
  • Strong Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Willingness to work every weekend (Friday–Sunday), including Labor Day Weekend
  • Ability to work as Charge Nurse when needed
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • TNCC preferred
