Job Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license or compact RN license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required; no first-time travelers
• Experience in a large hospital or high-acuity facility preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt quickly in a fast-paced emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a busy Emergency Room environment
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage care, and respond effectively to changing conditions
• Support emergency interventions, stabilize patients, and collaborate closely with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and provider orders
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow throughout the department
• Contribute to a strong team environment while delivering care during busy overnight shifts
