• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Time Off: One pre-approved time-off request permitted; holiday coverage required
• Charting System: Cerner, FirstNet, and Launch
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,960 - $2,070
• Unit Highlights: Primary Stroke Center with Gold Plus recognition, rapid evaluation units, and behavioral health support areas

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered
• Community hospital experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
• Cerner experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 preferred
• CEN preferred
• Strong emergency nursing skills, including triage, IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation, and procedural monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of medical and trauma conditions
• Deliver safe, efficient care in a busy Emergency Department averaging approximately 120 visits per day
• Support two locked behavioral health units within the Emergency Department
• Work in rapid evaluation areas for urgent care and critical care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Cerner and follow established emergency care protocols
• Float within scope as needed to support patient care demands
