Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lansing, Michigan.
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) -- LOCALS ACCEPTEDSAME PAY FOR LOCALSAya Offer if clinical Pass RTO MUST BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL, NO ADDITIONAL RTO WILL BE APPROVED LATER ONNO RTO ALLOWED: 10/31, 9/4-9/7Start Date: ASAPSpecialty: EROn Call: NoWeekend: Yes - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule - might be scheduled to work 1 day of the weekend, 2 days or all 3 daysFloating: Yes Peds possibleRequired Certifications:- State license- ACLS- BCLS by AHA- PALS- TNCC- ENPC (PREFERRED)- NIHRequired Experience:- Level I trauma experience REQUIRED- 2 year minimum experience REQUIRED- Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias- EPIC charting experiencePreferred Experience:- Unit accepts 1st time travelers- Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration experience- Triage experienceAdditional info about the unit:Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department. Currently experiencing high 1:5-6 ratios. It could be up to 8 depending how many patients come in and holidays.- Traveler has Level I trauma experience- Traveler agrees to work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule- Traveler acknowledgment of high ratios 1:5-6 ratios. It could be up to 8 depending how many patients come in.- Traveler has required certifications - TNCC, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH
