Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to patients in critical situations, while working alongside specially-trained emergency physicians and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Perform triage, assess patient needs, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions through EKG readings and vital signs assessment.
• Maintain PPE standards and ensure environment safety for patients and staff.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

The position requires rotating shifts, including:

• Day shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Night shifts: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend commitment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience in an emergency department or related field preferred.
• Strong skills in EKG reading/monitoring, blood product administration, and IV therapy.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage critical situations effectively.
