Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

Day Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12-Hour shifts
Must work at least every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients in emergency situations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Participate in ongoing education and training programs.

Qualifications

A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Emergency Nursing.
Valid and active Ohio RN license or compact state license.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.
Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
