Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | 36 hours guaranteed per week | Sunday – Saturday work week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting within a critical access hospital
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Accurately document patient information, assessments, and interventions using Trubridge charting system
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Prior emergency room nursing experience
  • Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Trubridge electronic charting
  • Local travelers are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a critical access hospital environment
  • Strong triage assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage high patient volumes and acuity levels effectively
