Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location: unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality, acute emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations. ER RNs must be prepared to handle trauma and urgent medical situations with expertise and promptness.
Job Details
- Position Description: Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department (ED) nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience, with at least 18 months of recent ED experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
- Additional Information: Must have demonstrated a high level of clinical performance and the ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the capability to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients physical and mental health conditions and prioritize their needs accordingly.
