Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: The healthcare organization is seeking experienced ER RNs to provide critical care in the emergency department. These nurses must be prepared to handle a variety of trauma and emergency situations, assessing and prioritizing patient needs efficiently across all age groups. The role requires quick decision-making and expert clinical skills to deliver high-quality emergency nursing care.
Job Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, three shifts per week, with every other weekend required, and three out of six holidays.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale). Minimum of 18 months of experience working in an emergency department within the past six months. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans; ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services; effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Additional Information: The RN must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions, prioritize injuries and medical needs, and perform specialized and innovative services suited to emergency care. Proper scrubbing attire color is navy.
