Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in an acute care setting. The ER RN must be prepared to provide immediate, specialized care to patients experiencing a variety of trauma and medical emergencies. This role requires quick assessment, prioritization, and intervention to stabilize patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or higher; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; BLS-AHA, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; 1-2 years of nursing experience working in an ER environment within the past six months. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans; ability to perform a variety of professional nursing services; effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BSN education.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in the emergency department handling trauma and critical cases. The RN may be required to float to a satellite ER unit as needed. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/11/2026 and conclude on 01/09/2027, with every other weekend and two winter holidays including Black Friday required.
