Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Waterloo, Iowa. This role involves providing critical nursing care in the emergency department setting, supporting patient stabilization and ongoing treatment. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), one year of experience in emergency nursing, Iowa residence or ability to work in Iowa, and applicable licensure for the state of Iowa.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), and experience working in a high-volume emergency department.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires candidates to work every third weekend and every third holiday, with start date on 08/24/2026. Candidates must be capable of managing a fast-paced emergency care environment and following all safety and clinical protocols.
