Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, supporting a diverse patient population across a wide range of specialties. The role requires flexibility in shifts and adherence to all clinical and administrative protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, shifts vary based on interview discussions.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), previous emergency nursing experience (minimum 1 year).
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, critical care background, team-oriented personality.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and Pennsylvania State Police Clearance. Fingerprint submissions must be completed within the last two years. All candidates are required to submit fingerprints, and clearances beforehand to be eligible to start. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
