Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This travel assignment involves providing acute care in a high-volume ER environment, with a focus on trauma, STEMI receiving, and stroke patients. The position requires professional expertise to manage a diverse patient population while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER Specialty nurse responsible for delivering immediate patient care within a trauma level IV, STEMI receiving, and stroke designated ER.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, TNCC; Minimum of 2 years ER experience and previous Medsurg experience; licensed to practice in the state.
• Schedule: Rotate shifts for 12 hours each, covering 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes 4 beds and 2 trauma bays, with in-house security not present in the ER.
  • Patient volume averages 10 per day.
  • Staffed with ED physicians and mid-level providers, with charge nurses managing each shift.
  • Staff may float to Med/Surg and Swing Bed units on the same floor.
  • All staff are expected to read telemetry strips and handle lab draws.
  • Duration of assignment: 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
  • Candidates must have an existing account to run the MN NetStudy prior to submission.
  • RTO (Leave) requests must be made upfront; no additional RTO consideration.
  • Distance radius for candidates: 50 miles, with restrictions on prior employment with associated health organizations within the past year.
  • Scrub color is navy blue, and unit orientation is 12 hours.
