Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in a metropolitan area. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients, adhering to hospital protocols and standards. The role is scheduled for night shifts, requiring flexibility to work during the holiday season and to participate in setting schedules.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); current licensure as a registered nurse; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 0 years of experience; location in a metropolitan area.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in emergency room settings; additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); ability to work one holiday during the holiday season.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires setting scheduling and willingness to work at night with a significant amount of clinical responsibilities involving rapid assessment and response. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle high-stress situations efficiently.
