Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This ER role involves providing high-acuity emergency patient care within a Level 2 trauma facility with a 22-bed unit. The position requires delivering quality care for complex patients in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: ER Nurse for a Level 2 trauma facility, with experience needed in similar-sized health care facilities and emergency departments. The environment involves managing complex patients with patient ratios of 3 to 4:1.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, & NIHSS required. TNCC & ENPC preferred.
- Education/Experience: ER experience of at least 2 years with relevant certifications; Degree accreditation must be on the profile or candidates must have 5 years of experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. Two years ER experience in trauma or high-acuity settings.
- Additional Information: Prior travel experience preferred. All documentation including full demographic details (address, email, date of birth, SSN, RN license number) must be submitted at the time of application. Floating may be required, including to sister campuses. All RTO requests must be submitted with application; no post-submission approvals. Cultural fit and ability to function as part of the core staff are essential.
