Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team during the night shift. As an ER RN, you will provide critical care and treatment to patients in our emergency department.

Shift Details

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • 3x12-Hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  • Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on severity.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patient status and responses to treatment.
  • Assist in life-saving procedures and interventions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in emergency nursing.
  • Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license at the time of submission.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or American Red Cross.
  • TNCC certification is preferred.
  • Must work at least every other holiday.

Additional Information

During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment, with acceptable scores required for continuation in the position.
