Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is located in a Level 1 Trauma Center within a regional referral hospital that offers advanced clinical services and specialized care. The role involves providing emergency care across a diverse patient population, including trauma and critical care cases. The position requires adherence to strict certification and clearance requirements, with a focus on teamwork and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 09/28/2026 through 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, PALS, and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certifications preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working in emergency medicine, trauma care, or critical care environments. All candidates must have complete and clear background screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance. Fingerprints must be submitted/uploaded before candidate can be cleared.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma and critical care environments is highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays. The facility supports a team-oriented approach focused on high standards of patient care and safety. Candidates must meet all PA clearance requirements prior to assignment start. No float rotation required.
