Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an Emergency Department; high-acuity emergency nursing experience is strongly preferred
- Active Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Experience providing emergency care to both adult and pediatric patients
- Proficiency with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, critical medications, and intravenous drips
- Ability to recognize rapidly changing clinical conditions and respond appropriately in a high-acuity environment
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet required credentialing and pre-employment clearances
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Assess patients of all ages, identify urgent and life-threatening conditions, and prioritize care based on clinical needs
- Initiate appropriate emergency nursing interventions when a physician is not immediately available
- Administer prescribed medications, intravenous therapy, respiratory treatments, and other therapeutic interventions
- Operate and monitor emergency care equipment, including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, cardiac monitors, ventilators, and related technology
- Provide emergency nursing care for patients with trauma, acute medical conditions, respiratory compromise, stroke symptoms, and other emergency presentations
- Monitor critical medications and intravenous drips while promptly reporting changes in patient condition
- Document assessments, interventions, treatments, patient responses, and care coordination activities accurately
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing colleagues, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and well-stocked Emergency Department environment
