Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located at a leading academic medical center. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a high-volume Emergency Department, with a focus on trauma and critical care services. The assignment offers valuable experience in a renowned facility and requires flexibility to float across units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-Hour Days (7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.), 36 hours per week, variable days, weekends, and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience; recent experience in an academic medical center or Level I/II Trauma Center within the last 12 months; BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications; Florida RN License or Compact RN License at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • RTO blackout dates: 11/26-11/28, 12/24-12/25, 12/31.
  • 50-Mile Radius Rule: NO LOCALS.
  • No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of any new assignment; maximum of 10 days RTO allowed over the entire 13-week contract.
  • Minimum experience requirement: 3 years in Emergency Department nursing; recent Level I/II Trauma Center experience strongly preferred.
  • Recent Epic experience must be clearly listed in the submission packet.
  • No employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation.
  • Candidates should review cardiac rhythms before start.
  • The unit manager interview is required.
