Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, teaching hospital emergency department with over 50 beds and 200-250 patients daily. The ER Nurse will work night shifts in a level 2 trauma center designated as a comprehensive stroke and chest pain center.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Shift 12 hours (7 p.m. 7:30 a.m.), working a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Compact or Florida nursing license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) after 1 year in ER, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification after the first 13-week assignment, prior experience in a busy trauma center or similar-sized emergency department (minimum of 2 years), pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam.
